Browning Custom Gun Making: The Renaissance Belgium Hi-Power Tangent Sight 9mm (1968)

John M. Browning's innovative spirit found a perfect partner in Fabrique Nationale d’Herstal (FN) in Belgium. This collaboration began in the early 20th century and resulted in some of the most iconic firearms in history. FN's rich heritage of over 400 years of manufacturing expertise provided the ideal environment for Browning's creative genius to flourish. Among the products of this collaboration was the B25, the world's first successful over-and-under shotgun, first manufactured in 1925. The B25 remains an icon for shooting experts worldwide, a testament to the enduring quality and ingenuity of Browning's designs.
The Browning Hi-Power, introduced in 1935, is widely regarded as one of Browning's finest handgun designs. It was revolutionary in its capacity, ergonomics, and reliability, quickly becoming a favorite among military, law enforcement, and civilian users worldwide. The Hi-Power's design incorporated a double-stack magazine, allowing for a higher capacity of 13 rounds, which was a significant advancement at the time.
